Item description: Vintage Mid-20th Century 18ct Solid Yellow Gold Onyx Diamond & Serpent / Snake Signet Ring.

A striking mid-20th century men's signet ring, beautifully crafted in 18ct solid yellow gold, featuring an unusual and highly detailed serpent motif. The ring is set with a flat square-shaped black onyx stone measuring approximately 10.0mm x 9.0mm, accented with a round diamond measuring approximately 1.25mm, star-set into the onyx. 

The face of the ring measures approximately 16.0mm x 19.0mm, with detailed goldwork and a sculpted serpent extending across the shoulders. The band measures approximately 5.0mm wide at the back. 

A substantial and distinctive vintage men's ring with excellent character and intricate craftsmanship.
